Description
On March 7, 1969, a large group of Scripps students and faculty met in the Clark Living Room to organize a picket demonstration in front of Balch Auditorium in support of the founding of the Black Studies Center. This 3.5-page student article, headed by a large image of a protester, was written by Barbara E. Wilson (Scripps '69), and details her first-hand account of how the students and faculty organized.
