The Claremont Colleges Activism Archive

The Claremont Activism Archive collects documentation about activist activities of the students, faculty, staff, and community of The Claremont Colleges. It was started in Scripps Professor Anne Harley's Fall 2016 Core 3: Mobilizing Art course as a class project. It was established as a direct response to student demands in 2015-16 to document the history of activism at The Claremont Colleges.

Harley intended for the archive to receive ongoing contributions from faculty, students, and staff at The Claremont Colleges, but because of the digital format of the archive, there are restrictions on what it can hold. For this reason, the archive currently contains mostly documents of a historical nature, rather than items related to current protests.

This project has been supported by The Digital Humanities Initiative at the Claremont Colleges.
